We have been serving the litigation needs of individuals in Central Florida since 1993. Our areas of expertise include Criminal law, Personal Injury and Wrongful Death, Family and Juvenile law. We place great emphasis upon thorough preparation, individual attention and the aggressive representation of all our clients. We have over 58 years combined experience in the legal field. I have always had a passion for the law and for justice to be served. I began my law career as an attorney defending claims for the insurance industry. I then took the experience I gained there to represent those injured by the negligence of others. I served my state as an assistant state attorney prosecuting criminal cases from the government perspective. I regularly draw upon all of these experiences in providing my clients with the most thorough representation. I received my Bachelor Of Arts Degree, with honors, from Michigan State University and attended Indiana University where I received my law degree in 1986. In 1993 I established my general civil and criminal trial law practice focusing in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, criminal defense, family and juvenile law. I am a member of the Orange County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, The Florida Bar, Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. I am also very pleased to announce that I have been awarded a BV Peer Review Rating from LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell. It is the result of an extensive and confidential peer review by members of the Florida Bar. The BV Peer Review Rating identifies a lawyer with high to very high legal ability, and is a definite reflection of professional expertise and experience. In addition to my law practice, I have made an enthusiastic commitment as pro-bono legal counsel and Advisory Board Member to the Mad Cow Theater Company, which has been repeatedly named Orlando’s Best Professional Theatre for the third year in a row. I am also a member of Florida Citrus Sports, a philanthropic foundation which provides in-kind services to families and at-risk youth throughout Central Florida through its promotion of the Capital One and Champs Sports college football bowl games. “Never buy a car from a friend. Never work for a friend.” When Mr. Cameron asked me to come help him open his own law firm in 1993, I had already broken one of those golden rules. Years earlier, not long after we had become friends, I bought a car from him. It turned out to be one of the best cars I ever had. So it wasn’t hard to break the other golden rule when in 1993 he asked me to help him for a few months to open his law practice. I figured, I wasn’t going to work for him that long, and our friendship, which at that point was many years old, wouldn’t be hurt by unpacking a few boxes and setting up a filing system. Well, I was right about the friendship not suffering, but I was wrong about the “few months.” I’m still here, 16 years later. This is the best job I’ve had in my 35 years of legal experience. I enjoy helping the people we represent, the beautiful old building that houses our office, and I enjoy working with a friend who is as smart and interesting as Andrew Cameron.
