Where should my divorce be filed? 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
A petition for dissolution of marriage must be filed in the state and county where either party has been a full-time resident for more than six months prior to the filing and where the parties last resided as husband and wife. Filing the divorce in the wrong state or county may result in the petition being dismissed.
