Florida's Gun laws

Floridians are allowed to keep guns in their homes and businesses without restriction, so long as they are not convicted felons or subject to an injunction for protection against domestic violence or other court order.

Motorists may keep a loaded firearm for their protection in their personal vehicle, so long as the gun is securely encased and not immediately accessible.

Those overĀ  the age of 21 must obtain the correct state issued license to lawfully carry a concealed firearm.

Anyone considering owning or possessing or using a firearm should become aware of the current restrictions under Florida law and be aware that Florida has enacted severe minimum mandatory prison sentences for those who use, carry or discharge a firearm during the commission of a crime.
